Managing Accounts

What Is an Account?

An account represents any financial pot you own: a current account, savings account, credit card, or investment account. Every transaction is linked to an account, so your balances stay accurate automatically.

Adding an Account

  1. Go to Accounts in the menu.
  2. Click Add Account.
  3. Fill in the name, account type, currency, and opening balance.
  4. Click Save.

Your opening balance is the amount in the account on the date you start tracking it. Transactions added after that date will adjust the balance automatically.

Account Types

Type Description
Current Everyday spending account
Savings Savings pots and emergency funds
Credit Card Cards where the balance represents money you owe
Investment Shares, ETFs, and funds (tracked separately in Investments)

Editing or Deleting an Account

Use the menu on any account card to edit the name, type, or opening balance, or to delete the account.

Deleting an account also removes all transactions linked to it. This cannot be undone.

Linked Accounts (Joint Finances)

If you share finances with a partner, a linked account lets both of you see each other's data. Contact support to set up account linking.
