Investment Portfolio Tracking
What Investments Can I Track?
Cisti Finance tracks shares, ETFs, funds, and other securities held in investment accounts. You can add holdings manually or import transaction history from brokers like Degiro, IBKR, Revolut, and Trading 212.
Adding an Investment Account
- Go to Accounts and add an account with the type Investment.
- Then go to Investments to see your portfolio for that account.
Importing Broker Transactions
- Export a CSV file from your broker.
- Go to Investments → Import and select your broker.
- Upload the file — Cisti Finance will preview the parsed transactions.
- Review and confirm the import.
Supported brokers: Degiro, Interactive Brokers (IBKR), Revolut, Trading 212.
Portfolio View
The Investments page shows:
- Total Value — current market value of all holdings.
- Total Cost — what you paid (cost basis).
- Unrealised Gain/Loss — the difference, shown as amount and percentage.
- Estimated CGT — Capital Gains Tax at 33% on unrealised gains, after the €1,270 annual exemption.
Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Tracker
The CGT tracker shows your unrealised gains by holding. Use it to identify which assets would trigger the largest CGT liability if sold. For detailed guidance on CGT rates and rules, see the Capital Gains Tax guide.
This is an estimate only. Your actual CGT liability depends on your full circumstances. Consult a tax advisor before selling.
Tips
- Keep your cost basis accurate by importing all historical transactions, not just recent ones.
- The €1,270 annual CGT exemption resets on 1 January each year — consider using it before year-end.
