Everything that personalises Cisti to your situation. Profile details, financial assumptions, display preferences, data controls.

Profile

Your name appears in the app header. Your email is your login and changing it triggers a verification step. You can change your password from this page too.

Financial preferences

These power most of the projections in the app, so it's worth getting them right.

• Currency. Primary currency. Every amount in the app is displayed in this one.
• Date of Birth. Used by pension and Retirement Planner projections.
• Gross Annual Salary. Used by the income tax estimate on the Tax page and percentage-based pension contributions.

Transaction types

Your list of spending and income categories. You can add new ones (Pet Care, Gym, whatever), rename existing ones, or delete unused ones. (You can only delete a type if no transactions are linked to it.)

These show up as options when adding a transaction or creating a budget.

Display preferences

• Date Format. DD/MM/YYYY is the Irish default.
• Number Format. Choose the style you prefer for thousands separators and decimals.

Data and privacy

Export Data downloads every transaction and account as a CSV. Delete Account permanently removes everything. There's no undo on that one.

Tips

Get salary and date of birth in straight away. Without them the Tax and Retirement pages have nothing to work with. Revisit your retirement age and core spending on the Retirement Planner's Assumptions tab once a year. Goals drift.
